Island Hoppin' Brewery is a craft brewery and tasting room located in Eastsound, Washington, the largest town on Orcas Island and the only brewery in the San Juan Islands of Washington. The brewery was launched in 2009 by Nate Schons, Becca Gray, and Jim Parker, who between them had 10 years brewing experience, including Nate's training under brewmaster Joe Nester of Cashmere Brewing.
Island Hoppin' draws on the remote beauty and lore of the San Juans for inspiration in their brews. Their Elwha Rock IPA, is named after a submerged rock off the south end of the island that has twice been struck by ferries.
The tasting room keeps seven beers taps, and their beers can be found in numerous locations arounds the islands as well as onshore.
