From Beer
In the beer world, a growler is a large bottle or jug (usually 1 U.S. gallon) used to carry beer home from a brewpub or brewery. These are typically sold at brewpubs, and generally feature the brewery's logo. Growlers can later be refilled at that or another brewery.
